The Candyman Mt Eden

Candy lovers look no further! If you want to feel like you've died and gone to a heavenly world dripped in sugar and full of colours, flavours and tantalising tastes, you need to pop your head in and say hi to the confectionary experts at this iconic Mt Eden local. There are so many different types of hard-to-find candies at this great Auckland sweet shop that an experience of visiting feels delightfully decadent and a little overwhelming. I love the fact that the guy behind the counter has worked here for six years and still hasn't tried every sweet in store.

Walked in & I was in heaven, my daughter would love this place. I saw the chocolate fudge & I had to get it straight away, it was delicious. There is a variety of sweets you can find here, great gifts and the guy at the store was super helpful and friendly.

Santa is pretty keen on this place - it's stuffed with excellent stocking-fillers for the kids. Who can say no to lollies in a tin shaped like Darth Vader?

I stumbled across this place today and wow I am glad that I did! Stepping into Candyman is like stepping into another world, everything is bright, fun and smells delicious. I was after two specific hard to find products and they had both! This place is great for Christmas stocking fillers or just for your own sneaky sweet treat. There are so many options to choose from, don't be surprised if you're in there for a while. The staff are super friendly and helpful too, making my first Candyman experience fun and memorable, I will be back again soon!

Perfect lollie shop in the Mt Eden village, has everything that you can ask for! A Willy Wonka factory indeed :o)

My friends and I craved a midday breakfast and went to Mt Eden to seek out a cafe that does all day breakfast and stumbled across this cute little store! If you’re looking for a place that has a huge variety of national and international candies and chocolates this is the place to go! The customer service was great there was a lady, who came across as the owner, who was very approachable and friendly and willing to answer any questions that we had. There was a lot of American candy which were great and I ended up going home with american after mint chocolates and sour sherbet bubble gum! Worth checking out and great for novelty, your taste buds and presents!

This place is full of wonder and magic, it's like being a kid in a candystore - and you are just that when you visit this cute candy store! Imported products and unique lollies make it a great destination to pick out something tasty for a gift or just for a treat for yourself! The range is huge and they always have something different to tempt the sweet tooth in anyone. Unusual flavoured M&Ms right the way through to candied worms! You'll find anything and everything in this place and the prices are actually pretty reasonable considering the freight involved in getting all the delectable goodies to our sometimes sweet-deprived shores!
