This bar is so very 'Wellington!' A secret gem next to the famous restaurant, Chow, The Library is a snug bar offering ridiculously delicious cocktails and deserts. Board games and books are available making it one of the most relaxing places to be, especially during Winter! Its 2 for 1 deserts on Tuesdays, and if you ever have to wait for a table at chow, pop through the secret door for a fabulous cocktail.
Fabulous & kitschy ! The Library's warm lounge ambiance is an experience in itself! Cosy & relaxed with comfy settees to nestle into while sipping a glass of champagne or tasting one of the many cocktails. A great place to start the night or end with a night cap. Fantastic service makes this place a real treat. #shoutme
I recently went to The Library for a drink with a friend from out of town. It had been a while since my last visit and I was impressed anew with the service, the ambiance, and the range of beverages available. It gets pretty busy, especially on nights with two-for-one dessert or cocktail deals, but that's testament to its popularity – just get in early. The complimentary bowl of almonds with every beverage is a nice touch.
