What a great cafe, how could I live in Auckland my whole life and not know about this place sooner! Yummy modern food in a lovely old building. Great service too. I want to go back for the Sunday Blues live music soon.

Sunday Avo Blues!!!!

The Country feel, yet your right by the river of which you can arrive in style to eat via boat, Auckland Adventure Jets is the best way :)

Lovely lunch great staff!

Great place to grab an affordable bite to eat. Awesome bar food and a restaurant with a more diverse menu. Indoor and outdoor seating options overlooking the estuary. The live blues on a Sunday is always a treat!

What a day!!! I went to the Riverhead for a hens do recently and what  magical spot. I really recommend going the whole hog and taking the ferry there for a great weekend excursion. The view over the water is magical and the food and drink is top notch. Make sure you catch the blues band if you head there on a Sunday!

If you're heading west for a day/afternoon trip then The Riverhead Tavern is a great place to stop for a coffee, drink or food. It's only 20 mins from the city and right next to the harbour with its own little jetty.

One of our favourite Sunday drives is to the historic Riverhead pub, which on a good day is just twenty minutes drive from the city. It is a comfortable cruise with beers, wines and stellar hot chips to reward the effort, or more bistro- type fare is available in their restaurant area. The car park is also a petrol head’s dream as it is usually packed tight with hot rods, bikes and muscle cars galore.

Awesome food, awesome service and awesome views, nuff said!
