I went here for a quick bite to eat with my mum before going to a show last night. The service was quick and attentive and extremely accommodating when we told them about our short time frame. They had a good selection of drinks and the wine came out in a massive glass (although the measurement of wine looked a little silly in such a big glass!) the food was fine and they were happy to change around the salad to my liking. The manager there was funny and relaxed and just like he said "he is old school". The decor was great which made it very warm & inviting. Would recommend.
Food was ok - was expecting more considering it was a STEAK place ! Staff were nice enough and service was ok, but I was expecting excellent steaks done to perfection. Parking can be tricky if driving to get there, but not so bad if yoiu're in town anyway and jsut waslking there after work or for lunch. Want to say more, but unfortunately unable to - just on average !
What an amazing place if you are craving for a good old fashioned steak. This place delivers the goods without any frills and just serves up good steaks at a reasonable price. I ordered my steak medium-rare and they consistently get it spot on as to where I would have cooked it myself! Amazing. They have a wide range of drinks to indulge in as well so this place comes highly recommended from me, especially if you are in the area then this is not something to miss.
Ive been here numerous times for lunch but unfortunately every time has been a disappointment! The services is great, the staff are fabulous but the food is very average. Ive tried nearly everything on the lunch menu and i havnt been impressed. The Spag Bol is made with Nacho meat, so it has beans in it.. the steak i had was fatty and veiny and i ended up complaining as i could barely eat any of it, the cut was terrible, they were happy to not charge me though which didn't stop me from coming back. great atmosphere but you get what you pay for i suppose.
