Viva Mexico Te Aro

On left bank, some of Wellingtons best food. Always packed on weekends with an authentic vibe and great food to match, it’s an easy place to go for dinner with someone and impress with quality food.

A great little spot down Left Bank arcade, if you feel like a great Mexican feed look no further, with a spot open in Newtown as well you can find some really items to eat. The Quesadillas here are some of my favourites in Wellington, its supremely busy on the weekend’s nights so get in quick, and then grab yourself a fantastic meal!!

Viva Mexico offers some of the best Mexican in Wellington – I'd say authentic, but it's better than the meals I ate in Mexico. I can't recommend the fried cheese jalapenos starter enough. It's a no-frills but comforting space, nestled in Left Bank off Cuba St

This place is a quirky little restaurant that serves great food. The staff are courteous and friendly. The service is fast and food is decently priced. We go there often. #Blackmores

Viva Mexico is hands down the best Mexican in town! They have an extensive range of Jarritos and Mexican beer, and their quesadillas are to die for! Not only is the food at Viva Mexico delicious, it’s great value for money. The friendly staff make dining at Viva Mexico a very pleasant experience. It’s by far my favourite place to eat in Wellington.

The food, the simple nature and the food.

A bunch of Mexican restaurants have sprung up in Wellington over the past 18 months, but to my mind Viva Mexico on Left Bank is still the best. The servings are enormous and there’s an authentic feel to it; be sure to try the stuffed jalapenos and Mexican cola. It recently expanded its menu to include breakfast, with eggs served Mexican-style.

The best quesadillas in town. Check out the funky decor, delicious food and enjoy the laid back feel with the obligatory Sol. If you have no time to soak in the Mexican beats, ask for takeaway.

The best Mexican food in central Wellington is tucked away on Left Bank - the mole enchiladas rule! It’s an ideal spot for a group dinner with something for everyone on the menu.
