Volare Tauranga

Fantastic restaurant on The Strand and all things Italiano – menu, staff and atmosphere. Beautiful bruschetta to start, pasta galore and a range of meat main dishes. Buon appetite!

I only just discovered this place recently, when me and some friends popped in for dessert after dining elsewhere… but I’ll definitely be back. My friends say the mains here are amazing, so I’m dying to go back, but the desserts alone were to die for. We all ordered one dessert each and shared; the tiramisu, cheese cake and creme brulée. I honestly couldn’t decide on my favourite, they were all great!

One of our favourite restaurants in Tauranga, there are too many good dishes here to recommend just one. You need to try them all! And if you have hungry mouths to feed, they do really generous portion sizes. It’s a great night out.

Love this little gem tucked away on the strand. I love how authentic the food is and how attentive the staff are. Its great to be served good italian food by italian people. The restaurant is nice and clean and has a great lay out so that you are sitting right on top of people. There is inside and outside dinning with a second story level available as well. Its right in the heart of tauranga which makes it great for a nice night out or a lovely lunch. their wine list is very extensive and heaps of free parking in the area.Been here several times and have never had an issue, would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back.
