What a lovely little restaurant. The staff here were just so friendly and accommodating. The food also hit the spot nicely   

Two words Agedashi Tofu, Its my absolute favourite when visiting one of my favourite Japanesse restaurants in town- Kura. 

Another day another lunch date with my favourite sushi in Auckland 

I love this place, cute and cosy with only 3 cooking stations. The food and show is fantastic. 

I do love to sit at an actual sushi bar and watch these amazing chefs work their magic.  It's also a really great distraction from any lacklustre conversation you may be enduring with your dinner date.

When at the Oyster Inn, you must order the Tarakihi Sliders and you must of course order some oysters! They had a large selection of different oysters.

what a buzzy restaurant. Load of diners all enjoying awesome pizzas and taking full advantage of it being BYO.  Cant wait to go back 

I'd been to Te Whau to sample the wines and take in the most beautiful view of Auckland, but friends who had been to Te Whau to eat were insistent that we MUST try the sticky date pudding. At 11.30 am eating dessert would usually be strange, but this was a welcome exception to the rules. Simply out of this world, the best sticky date I have ever had!

Wow my first time to Casita Miro and this place really lives up to the hype. Absolutely stunning surroundings and I have never in NZ had more authentic Spanish tappas 

Yes I have 'loved' this cafe twice already, but this cafe is the FIRST place id pick to have breakfast or brunch while on the island.  It makes me sad that this cafe is so far away from my home.

I was completely wowed with the beautiful setting at Bracu We took a lovely big walk around the property in between entrees and mains at a wedding there recently The staff, the food the restaurant were all top notch. Id love to one day get married here

What a day!!! I went to the Riverhead for a hens do recently and what  magical spot. I really recommend going the whole hog and taking the ferry there for a great weekend excursion. The view over the water is magical and the food and drink is top notch. Make sure you catch the blues band if you head there on a Sunday!

We recently went here for a hens do lunch. I loved that you can book their shuttle van which comes into the city at a certain time and will also drop you back into the city. The food here was really fantastic and the atmosphere is breathtaking

I have been here a couple of times now and group of friends and I decided recently we must go back there more. Such a easy going vibe, not too packed but busy enough. 

I stepped out of my comfort zone and ordered something Id never ordered before and now that dish will apart of my comfort zone forever.  The ravioli was unbelievable 

Whoever hires the bands and DJs at Golden Dawn should be acknowledged for their superb ear.  This three piece were quirky yet ridiculously good.

Best new restaurant in Auckland hands down. You will definitely need to make a booking though, it's HECTIC. The pork buns are the absolute BEST I have ever, ever had !

Wowwwwwww I just ate here, well ordered from next door at Cocos but dined at Barretta, this ricotta and lemon ravioli with beetroot and walnuts was TO.DIE.FOR

I do love a dessert and The Grove have the goods. Absolutely unforgettable and not to rich after 2 previous sensational courses 

Yes it's pretty cold out there these past few days. But Prego has their outside area perfectly tempered.  Loads of outdoor heaters kept it cosy enough to enjoy the fresh air!

Lovely sun filled deck with great tunes and great people watching. 

What a fun place to go with friends, sit on the lawn on a beanbag and enjoy a rosé and a cheese platter. A great mix of ages and a really happy vibe 

First I'm a sucker for a good name. The Gyspy Tea room just says "cool" to me.  It's relaxed yet sophisticated. Cool but not try hardish.  My perfect venue for a nightcap!
