This would be the perfect place to take your date, or if you're disillusioned with such things, yourself! Manicured gardens, with hundreds of stunning roses, and a duck pond. The perfect place for pensive reflection.

    There’s something so wonderfully serene about the rose garden. It’s perfect for gentle walks with loved ones and gentle smooches on benches next to the duck pond. Living in Wellington for a while its easy to start to forget just how wonderful some of the more visitable, more touristy parts of this fine city are.

      Beautiful place, perfect for a first date. Nice smelling roses. Place is well kept with different signs telling you the type of rose. So COLOURFUL and beautiful. Definitely something to do when in Welly!
