The best blueberries in NZ

    What's better than fresh blueberries? Fresh blueberries in ice cream! It's two of my favourite Summer treats combined and its deliciousness in cone. Take the trip to Monavale or make sure you stop in if you are driving through!

      As I’ve mentioned before - I love blueberries! I couldn’t leave this one off the Best Ice Cream list! Head to the Irresistiblue Cafe at Monavale and get yourself an irresistably delicious fresh blueberry fruit ice cream. Yum! Because, aren’t blueberry full of anti-oxidants and goodness…?!

        Blueberries are one of my all time favourite foods and they always remind me of Summer. Head to any of the Waikato Farmers Markets to pick up a punnet of these fantastic organic beauties, or head to Monavale, near Cambridge, and pick your own. A great addition to smoothies, or a delicious quick snack. What’s even better, you can treat yourself (and the kiddies!) to an ice cream, fro-yo or sorbet at the market- local, fresh, organic natural goodness for $4!

          One of the BioGro certified organic orchards. Also home to Cafe Irresistiblue where you can enjoy a meal once you're done picking. Renowned for it's Orchard shop and it's products, if you want to try something different pick up some of their blueberry salad dressing.
