Great spot to enjoy Auckland City. Silo Park has a fun playground, a neat water feature for kids and the adults to paddle their feet in on a hot summers day. Great view of the Viaduct Waterfront. Silo Park has night markets also. Love getting great food from the food trucks.

The surrounding areas offers a newly developed public space that one can do basically anything. Either chill in the grass, watch the boats cruise by, eat at one of the hip eateries or just go for a stroll with yr camera.

During the summer each year Silo Park sees crowds gather on a regular basis to watch classic movies in the open air. It’s awesomely kid friendly and there are plenty of spots to hit up for dinner before or after.

Close to fish market and various restaurant bar and cafe! Great place to hang out in a lazy Sunday afternoon!

This summer, set aside some time to stroll along the viaduct to Silo Park. There are tens of restaurants to choose from and right now there's the night markets. I love to see what's showing at Silo Cinema, check out some of the goodies and gifts and of course grab a bite from one of the pop up eateries.

Squeeze onto the grass strip in front of an old petro-chemical silo and enjoy a film under the stars.

Best summer movie outing!

My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."  I can safely say, all the times that I have watched the Princess Bride, and it is many. I have never ever loved it more than watching it with a bunch of friends, on a blanket with blankets over me, red wine in hand and churros for dessert. Fun fun fun
