The Mexican Cafe

everytime i've been, I've never been dissapointed - consistent with food and service. Tasty burritos and quesdillas, great margaritas, the corn chips and salsa to start are very addictive - but you have to order the guacamole and bean dip - DIVINE!!! Although the bean dip looks a littly hmmmm - it's deceiving! You can olnly book for big tables but you to get in pretty early! the dinner rush is always crazy - this place is always buzzing - be careful though - you wont want to go out after - you will be too full :)

i came here a few weeks ago with some friends, and the food was great. the place is so well decorated with little mexican decorations, and the staff are friendly and polite. the meal was perfectly cooked, great work guys

Both very good things..... Was nice, good food, price wise is reasonable for the area. Friendly staff. Had nice taco's and danced poorly with someone while others around us rolled out a tango

I love going to Mexican Cafe, It's always a lot of fun. There service is always amazing and they offer some really tasty cocktails. The food is so good and always so cheap. Definitely a great place to go to, to start your night off with friends.

Not only the salsa but the music ambiance service and food!! They're all so good, My favourite thing as you are seated is the salsa!! Yummy so simple but delicious!! Had mnay meals here without any complaints. They also have a salsa latin dance night - lots of fun to be had! Smack bang in the middle of town, great place to go with friends for a great night out in town! Highly recommended!!

It's been a while since I last went here but I can't wait to go back. Great for a fun night out with a group before an event or heading into town because the atmosphere is buzzing and the food is delicious! - after heading here you won't feel like just heading home. Choose from a great selection of scrummy cocktails that you can't get other places too. The staff are all really friendly and it's a place that so many people in Auckland seem to have been to before. Make sure you book first as it's a popular spot!

It's been a few years since I've dined here but it's still as enjoyable as it was then! It still rocks a fun and exciting environment, has cheap but still tasty drinks (that don't leave you with a hangover the next morning - which is always important, right!), and delicious food that I can never finish. We left feeling full, happy, and energised - a great start to the night!

I've been going to the Mexican cafe for years and they offer such yummy mexican for really good value! I love their range of fruit margaritas as well, they are so refreshing! The staff always give friendly and very fast service as well and the environment is so bustly and decor really authentic- I think it'd be a great place for a first date!
