Marise's acupuncture facials are so relaxing I fall asleep every time and when I wake up my skin looks amazing! The circulation is improved, fine lines are visibly reduced, I have better colour and don't even bother with foundation.

I love these guys. They are well priced, give great haircuts and are perfect for a blow wave or hair up for a special occasion.  

Although they have sorts of fabulous treatments here my favourite is the eyebrow threading for a quick pick me up!

I love going here for a reflexology massage. It's easy to get an appointment and they always provide a consistent and excellent service. I feel so well looked after here!

Excellent range of fresh fruit and veges. Gorgeous skin care ranges, great vitamins and an in house naturopath 5 days a week. Very happy to have such a great place out west!

A great organic store with in house naturopaths. I can never leave this store without buying something! They have a great range of natural skin care products I'm a sucker for. Also great just to pop in and grab a healthy snack.  And if you're feeling a bit under the weather you can get a remedy made up by one of their in house naturopaths like Karen. She's amazing!  

I was thrilled when the Moore Wilson concept came to Auckland in the form of Farro Fresh.  It's a great place to buy great quality local food. It's a joy to go food shopping here.

Bhana Bros have the best selection of fresh flowers and do great bouquets that don't cost a fortune.  They also have a great range or gourmet products including lots of gluten free options. And of course there is the great fruit and vege selection that they are renowned for.

This is a great little store packed full of fresh product and lots of gourmet items. Good parking and a wine store next door too!

Great cafe for a little afternoon treat. The kedgeree is my favourite thing for brunch.

A Ponsonby road institution.

Millers coffee is some of Auckland's finest.  I love their store  and roastery on Cross St.  The real test of an excellent coffee is having one without milk. Their short blacks are always consistently the best in Auckland. And you get to have it in such a cool space!

Jafa is always a reliable choice for brunch. They have a great menu, excellent service and I love their indoor plant wall. 

I live close to this cafe but had no idea of it was there until a friend asked to meet there. It's got a great menu, yummy counter food, great coffee and service. I love the atmosphere and it's a chlld friendly cafe too. Kids even have their own room! This cafe is certainly some of the best of the west!

It takes a lot of willpower to resist the Indian sweets in the window at Rasoi. I have to confess to popping in and getting something most times I go past. I've also been known to drive there specially! 

I had a steak cooked to perfection with delicious garlicky chimichurri sauce and a side of mashed potatoes.  I was staving when I ordered and I didn't have to wait long which was great! Love the ambience of Elliot Stables too.
