I love these guys. They are well priced, give great haircuts and are perfect for a blow wave or hair up for a special occasion.  

Mary Mowbray is the best hygienest I've ever been too. I've learnt things from Mary that no other dentist or hygienest has ever picked up on. She's amazing. I couldn't  recommend her more highly. Her tooth powder to great too!

Marise's acupuncture facials are so relaxing I fall asleep every time and when I wake up my skin looks amazing! The circulation is improved, fine lines are visibly reduced, I have better colour and don't even bother with foundation.

Although this place does all sorts of amazing treatments my favourite for a quick economical pick me up is the eyebrow threading. This makes such a difference to framing your face. Love it!

A great place in the central city for the best reflexology foot massage in town. It's always easy to get an appointment and the service is always consistently good. Love coming here!

Great cafe for a little afternoon treat. The kedgeree is my favourite thing for brunch.

I live close to this cafe but had no idea of it was there until a friend asked to meet there. It's got a great menu, yummy counter food, great coffee and service. I love the atmosphere and it's a chlld friendly cafe too. Kids even have their own room! This cafe is certainly some of the best of the west!

I've discovered these guys do breakfast!  I had an incredible dish with lentils and egg and it was spicy. Happiness on a plate!

I love the decor, the friendly bar staff and the fact I can hear my friends talk. This is a great bar for a drink after work. 

I've always been a fan of Shanghai Lils but forgot how good is was until a friends recent birthday. They pulled out all the stops, live piano by Billy. A wonderful drag act and a birthday cake! There was lots of dancing and Russell pulled out a few of his famous high kicks. The birthday girl had a ball and the venue went perfectly with her Great Gatsby theme.

I love this place. It really is a great venue with a great bar. I'm always pleased to see something here. Just saw the amazing ATC production of Anne Boelyn here. Auckland is lucky to have it!

This quirky retro store is in the middle of suburban Glen Eden and nestled beside cafe Humbug. Glen Eden can be a bit of a cultural desert so it's great to have this in the neigbourhood. I love looking through the collections of things.

This is the best vintage store in Auckland. The owner Driss Lambaraa has exquisite taste and everything in the store has been carefully handpicked by him. From my Frye boots to my original 1950's baby blue dress - I can thank Driss for many of the favourite things in my wardrobe.  He has styled me for so many events I've lost count!  He also has a great collection of furniture and art.  It's a joy to spend time in his beautiful store.

Aunty Mavis is a cute little collectable and vintage store in St Kevins Arcade off K-Rd. It has a great range of all sorts of things from Crown Lynn, pottery, glass, vintage and retro items. And I love the name!

If a 1950's danish side board is what you're after - this is the place to go! I discovered these guys on trade me but was thrilled to find they have a store on Dominion Rd. Beautifully restored mid century modern furniture.

A great vintage store in St Kevins Arcade. There is always an excellent range of cool retro gear combined with crazy outfits. It's always fun to shop here and the people that work there are really nice and helpful.

An Auckland institution this restaurant is still one of the best fine dining establishments in the city. The food is incredible, wine list is sublime. A perfect place to go for a special meal.

Merediths does a divine 8 course degustation! The service is amazing and has a great atmosphere. And they cater well for vegetarians too. One of Auckland's best!

Ada Lee is a tiny lady who gives the most wonderfully firm massages. She is certainly the strongest massage therapist I've been to. I've seen her twice and she's made a massive difference. A must for anyone sitting in front of a computer all day. Love her!

Monique van de Elzen is a traditionally trained acupuncturist and qualified physiotherapist. She offers the perfect combination of western and eastern medicine. She's become an essential part of my health and well being routine. I love my monthly visits!

I first heard about Rosana's incredible healing massages from a friend. I went and tried one myself. She was amazing and just the thing I needed. I'm now attending a Reiki Share group every month which I love!  It really is a sanctuary for healing. Awesome space too!

So nice to find a medical centre that combines the best of western medicine with an holistic approach. The doctors at this clinic look at what is causing your illness as opposed to treating the symptoms.
