    Totally Gelato is a cute wee place in Sumner selling only the best flavours of gelato. I love the lemon, raspberry and chocolate flavours the best. They close over the colder months but re-open just in time for summer, hooray!

    Gelato is all the rage in Canterbury at the moment. Rollickin’ Gelato can be found on New Regent Street and is part of the Life in Vacant Spaces project. What I love about them most is their ice cream and gelato is organic!!

    New Zealand Natural Icecream is world famous, quite literally! They have stores all around the world and they’re all fabulous and popular, and this store is no different. I find that you can’t beat the real fruit ice creams. They’re unreal.

    Deep South is my favourite Ice Cream brand that you can find in the supermarkets. The flavours are unique, they don’t taste fake or over creamy - in fact, they’re just perfect. I recommend the Blackcurrent Ripple, Choc-Berry Ripple and Peaches and Cream - divine!

    A child’s dream, the Gingerbread House is full from top to toe with the most amazing sweets and treats. For me, the highlight are the gourmet ice creams, including rich chocolate and vanilla. They even make birthday cakes and if you’re lucky they may even make you an ice cream cake!

    This low key market is considered one of the best in Christchurch. The number of stallholders vary over the season but one thing always remains the same … high quality produce that tastes good and is good for you.
