There’s a lot to love about Aro Ha. Not only is a beautiful and serene wellness centre, but it’s also a place to move your booty and get fit! The Wellness Adventure programme they host is a great way to "jump start your health" and involves hiking, stretching and resting.

A great way to tone up and slim down, Get Results Pilates is the place to go for pilates in Oamaru. It’s an amazing way to work on your ever-important breath, as well get strong and perfect your posture.

If you need to get fit fast then try Zumba with Suz in Dunedin. Suz is a professional Zumba teacher and knows how to get your heart racing and your muscles burning. Suz is an amazing teacher and caters to all levels and abilities!

If you’re new to yoga or a seasoned pro, Bikram Yoga Queenstown caters to all. I particularly love their range of yoga / pilates options, including Power Yoga, Dynamic Hatha, Yin Yoga, Hot Express, Bikram Yoga and Pilates.

The Nadi Wellness Centre is a time for relaxation and reflection. It’s also a good place to get toned and strong with their yoga and meditation classes. Strengthen the body AND mind with their great workshops and overseas retreats.

Totally Gelato is a cute wee place in Sumner selling only the best flavours of gelato. I love the lemon, raspberry and chocolate flavours the best. They close over the colder months but re-open just in time for summer, hooray!

Gelato is all the rage in Canterbury at the moment. Rollickin’ Gelato can be found on New Regent Street and is part of the Life in Vacant Spaces project. What I love about them most is their ice cream and gelato is organic!!

New Zealand Natural Icecream is world famous, quite literally! They have stores all around the world and they’re all fabulous and popular, and this store is no different. I find that you can’t beat the real fruit ice creams. They’re unreal.

Deep South is my favourite Ice Cream brand that you can find in the supermarkets. The flavours are unique, they don’t taste fake or over creamy - in fact, they’re just perfect. I recommend the Blackcurrent Ripple, Choc-Berry Ripple and Peaches and Cream - divine!

A child’s dream, the Gingerbread House is full from top to toe with the most amazing sweets and treats. For me, the highlight are the gourmet ice creams, including rich chocolate and vanilla. They even make birthday cakes and if you’re lucky they may even make you an ice cream cake!

The Booty Barre method is taught at Salsa Latina Dance Centre. Booty Barre classes are all the rage in Christchurch at the moment. It’s a great way to workout because it incorporates dance, pilates and yoga.

At Enforme you can partake in a mix of body sculpting and toning classes, including pilates PLYO, pilates PLUS and the Booty Barre. A great way to improve your strength, agility and balance!

The Timaru Farmers Market is a classic. I love the vast selection of tasty treats including honey, fresh veggies and preserves. This is fresh and local at its best - and every Saturday morning!

This low key market is considered one of the best in Christchurch. The number of stallholders vary over the season but one thing always remains the same … high quality produce that tastes good and is good for you.

A weekly twilight market set in the heart of Rangiora, RTM is a real treat. The produce and hot delicious food is superb and I love the dumplings and cakes. Take the whole family or go for a romantic date, strolling through the stalls.

I love Lyttelton Farmers Market. The community vibe here is always fantastic and it’s always a great way to get to know the locals and growers / artisans / producers. Take the trip through the tunnel every Saturday - it’s a great way to spend the weekend.

The Riccarton Market is a great place to pick up things for the home, garden and belly. Every Sunday there’s a big rush to the Riccarton Racecourse where stallholders line up to sell their wares and delicious food.

Every Saturday there is a lovely market that takes place in Wanaka. The Remarkables Market is the place to go if you crave local and seasonal food. To keep you entertained there are performers, and there are also some highly covetable collectables to take home too.

For all things delicious, the Otago Farmers Market has it covered for produce and cooked meals. You’ll find everything you need to here to satisfy your cravings. There’s coffee, pastries, cheese and chocolate brownies on offer here. Oh, there’s also whitebait fritters, pate and sauces too!

I love Oamaru Farmers Market! Located in a beautiful historical building, this market is bound to delight, with its cool crafts and delicious fresh food. The stallholders here are super friendly, lovely and knowledable of their products so you’re bound to have a great story to tell when you get home.

A superb country-style market, Central Otago Farmers Market is the place to go and speak directly to the farmers, growers and producers who supply you with the amazing food. Stock up on your veggies from the week and learn how they are grown so you can try for yourself at home!

A quirky and cool craft and art market, the Wanaka Sunday Craft Market is the perfect place to pick up a few Christmas gifts or some trinkets to decorate your house with. There’s also a few food trucks at the market so you can have your lunch there too!
