When heading to Bunga Raya in New Lynn, make sure to call ahead for a reservation! This hugely popular neighbourhood restaurant has been serving authentic, traditional and delicious Malaysian dishes since 1996.

Whether you're after a fragrant curry, a stir-fried dish or a big bowl of Tom Yum, the extensive menu features something for everyone. Vegetarians need not feel left out, as there are plenty of tasty options to choose from.

We found this place by accident and a happy accident it was! Such friendly owners and such flavoursome food! Especially hospitable to the children. Clean, unpretentious and delicious

    One of the best Malay restaurants in Auckland. The food is authentic and the staff are super friendly.. the mouth watering beef rendang keeps me going back for more!

        This is a great place to go for a celebration. We all had a brilliant time celebrating my friend’s graduation. Yummy food, good ambiance, friendly and attentive staff.

            Being close to home I do love this place. John is a great host and always welcomes you with a smile. Try the XO squid - simply exquisite. Average main course is $20-$25.

                    The food is absolutely amazing, authentic tasting, reminds me of food back home (per haps even better haha) the staff are friendly, and a good time with friends or family is always to be had.
