Mochas served at the Hardware Cafe in Titirangi, Auckland have a rich chocolate flavour backed by a good caffeine kick and marshmallows. Perfect way to fuel up before hitting the Waitakere Ranges hiking trails with mochaccino and mocha latte coffees available.

Mochas from Theobroma Chocolate Lounge in Mt Wellington, Auckland are a supremely rich, decadent cocoa and coffee delight. The complimentary chocolate truffle is a nice touch indeed.

Mocha coffees at the Little Cake Kitchen in central Auckland are well balanced and full of flavour. I wish they would make cronuts a permanent part of their menu. The mocha/cronut combo makes a divine breakfast or morning tea treat.

The mochas from the BOX Cafe in Aotea Square, Auckland are usually full flavoured and adorned with nice foam art, perfect for those who like to Instagram their beverages to their friends.

I've dined there numerous times and it's always been a great experience. The food is tasty and Jose, who runs the place, is a fantastic bar host. Their range of tequila is amazing!

From burritos to taco salads, I love it especially with a margarita or Negra Modelo.

I discovered this place a while back through a friend who kept talking about it. It's a Ponsonby classic with good coffee, food and service.

At first it seemed odd to cook my own meat on a hot slab at my table however the flavour was truly delicious. I also recommend trying the Mussel Pot, Salt & Pepper Squid and Crispy Chicken. It's a good spot to have an afternoon drink on a sunny day too.

Nothing better than enjoying a beer on the balcony of De Fontein overlooking Mission Bay on a sunny day, there's also live music Sunday afternoons.

Good alternative if you're not quite ready to skydive or bungy jump. You get the best view in central Auckland at the top of the Sky Tower before you take into your controlled jump back to street level. Great fun and adrenaline rush! 

This has to be one of the best adrenaline rush experiences ever! Took a while to ascend to jumping altitude but once there, you get an unreal view of Auckland before you experience free fall.

When I can't get to Mt Ruapehu, Snowplanet is a very handy and local alternative to enjoy an afternoon of snowboarding.

Round up some friends, grab your camo and wipe on the war paint. Lots of fun, just make sure to wear layers of clothing to soften the sting from the paintballs.

Had a great day with mates in the pools and hydroslides, topped off by chilling out and enjoying a movie near the end.
