A Dunedin institution, Taste Nature is a little diner and organic produce store. It’s all about local and it’s all about organic here so you know exactly what you’re putting in your mouth and on your body.

Wholefood Haven does organic incredibly well. Their fresh seasonal and local produce is ridiculously delicious and very good for you. Go visit them in Wanaka and see for yourself. You’ll leave with a whole arm full of amazing goodies.

A cafe and food store all rolled into one, Soul Food is definitely a favourite of mine. Expect the usual classic organic pantry goods and a cafe with delicious food made on site.

Riverton is my favourite organic store in Southland because they have been committed to organics for over 24 years! That’s a long time to fighting the organic cause!

A neat week organic store in Invercargill, there’s a lot to love about Organica Living. Their organic produce is fresh and locally grown and they have an amazing selection of certified organic beauty products too.

I love Bin Inn. It’s awesome to go in a store and only buy exactly the amount you need and no more. The range of dried pantry goods here will blow your mind - there’s everything you need to fill the kitchen and some of it is even organic!

For organic beauty there’s only place I like to shop … Eithne Health & Organics. From home cleaning products to vegetarian produce and haircare and make up, everything is ethically made and organic here!

I love this eco-friendly store. My favourite things to buy when I’m here are the teas, herbs and spices, as well as their ethically made cleaning products.

For gluten free and organic bread, The Cooks Pantry is always a winner. They also have an amazing selection of spreads, veggies, and pantry goods. In fact, it pretty much has everything you need for the kitchen!

I love Piko for their amazing range of organic and wholefood produce, products and hot soups and pies. Soon to be locating back to their original location on the corner of Kilmore and Barbados Streets, and even bigger and better than before!

A Garden City 2.0 initiative, Sumner Fresh Produce Market specialises in only organic food. Brought in weekly from nearby farmers, I love the absolute freshness of the fruit and vege.

Fresh is best at Organic Aotearoa. I love the simply design of the store coupled with the lovely service and amazing organic produce. This place is hard to beat when it comes to buying your groceries!

Rangiora is becoming known for it’s excellent food and drink stores, and The Organic Food House is the only one selling amazing organic produce. From food to cleaning products, if you’re environmentally minded, you’ll love this place.

This place is amazing for their meat, cheese, bread, fresh produce and pantry goods … all organic! It’s hard to beat that especially since it is also located in The Tannery!

I do love this second hand store. It is so great for second hand items like kitchenware and retro furniture. The antique bric-a-brac is pretty superb … who knows what you may find!

Mostly hardware (as you would expect!), Vaile is my favourite place for garden wares. The second hand stuff is pretty odd but also pretty unique, so many would say, pretty collectable! A must visit if you need something useful for the home

Jon’s Relics is a great place for ceramics, tools, records, collectables, and pretty much everything, really. Think of Jon’s Relics like a garage sale open every day.

It’s all in the name. Step 2’s Bargain Corner is all about bagging the bargain of a lifetime. Expect the usuals like bottles, china, pottery, furniture, but located in the awesome town that is Hokitika - this place continues to surprise me!

This eclectic store is one of Canterbury’s best kept secrets! The massive space is full to brim with amazing collectables and antiques, from furniture and fabrics to clothes and homewares.

You’ll find some sweet things inside Country Scenario. An antique store well worth visiting for all things antique. I love it for their country antiques and kitchenware.

Awa Whenua Antiques is a favourite of mine. Their little museum is superb and so very interesting! I love the giftwares and Maori artifacts.

This wonderful store is superb. The dealers are specialists in all things old and beautiful, so expect nothing less than the best antiques around! I love their vintage clothing - they’re great for dress up parties!

This Papanui Road store has a great range of antiques, in fact, one of the best in the city! With the declining numbers of antique and second-hand stores in Christchurch, I’m so pleased this one has stuck around!
