Owner Rebecca shares her customers' passion for creating show-stopping kitchens, laundry and wardrobes that are all about form and function but have a beautiful design twist. A lot of my friends are painter-decorators by trade and the only paint they use is NZ-made Resene. World leaders in paint technology, this incredible company based in Lower Hutt in Wellington creates great paint that sticks and stays. For anyone who has done their own DIY painting, you'll know it's all about the consistency and Resene paints allow you to create clean walls with no streaky runs. Plus their colour palette is wide-ranging and there's no colours every season.

I love the fact that Central Landscape and Garden Supplies has a great selection of dry firewood available for winter. They often do deals on free delivery and it's awesome to know that you are buying firewood from a local, NZ-owned business. My local yards are in Swanson and in Glen Eden and I know when winter hits, these are the guys to call to find the firewood I need. And no matter which yard you choose, I reckon you always get a great result.

If you want to buy a sweet onesie for a fraction of the price of anywhere else then Bed, Bath and Beyond is the place to go. We picked up a choice camo onesie for about $20 on sale and, last winter, it became like my husband's second skin. There's also good options for kids too and the best thing about a onesie is it keeps you warm all winter!

Definitely do a first class job! They finally managed to talk my landlord into doing some major rewiring on my 1950s ex state house, due to their great re-pore and upfront reasonable quoting follow through  pricing . They have done a fantastic  job and I'm no longer living in fair of my house burning down !  I would totally recommend using First Point Electrical for any electrical job you need doing .

I’ve been looking after nick and Simon on localist sine the beginning . I always go put and visit them on site. The work they do is off such great quality and they have the most reccomdations ( loves) of any builder on our site , and there is a reason for that . As a smaller team they can really keep there pricing down too . If your looking to renovate or need a new deck definitely give them a call to give you a quote !

Thank you to the team at DNA Housewash. I called them to ask for a quote to clean out gutters & apply a roof treatment on my house in Birkdale. The next day they arrived at my home, assessed what needed to be done and provided me with a quote (placed in my letterbox as I was not home) along with information about the many other services they provide. A few days later I called on a Friday to arrange for the work to be done, appointment was made for the following Tuesday and I arrived home to find the work done and that a great job had been done.
